Crewsupport Maritime Services BV will always report the drivers with ISPS for the terminals where it is necessary. All our drivers are in possession of certificates and diplomas, which are required for more and more terminals. Crewsupport Maritime Services BV is also affiliated with Royal Dirkzwager, so ETA and berthing is identifiable. Our drivers are registered via Royal Dirkzwager to ISPS if the vessel is berthed in Rotterdam and surrounding ports.

Port Security

The security levels

The ISPS Code has three security levels. With an increased risk at an incident, the security level rises and ships and terminals have to take additional security measures.

Security Level 1 The normal situation, with a number of standard security measures.
Security Level 2

There is an increased risk at an incident.

Stricter security measures are implemented.

Security Level 3

An incident is likely.

Very strict security measures are implemented.

Security levels are set by the national government. In ships, the level set by the flag State. At the terminals, this is determined by the government of the country.

ISPS Code: Standard for Security

In December 2002 an international standard was designed within the International Maritime Organization (IMO), to improve the security of shipsand port facilities: the ISPS Code. The security measures have been incorporated in European regulation, that came into force on July 1, 2004.

Report on terminals

Crewsupport Maritime Services BV will always report the drivers with ISPS for the terminals where it is necessary.

All our drivers are in possession of certificates and diplomas, which are required for more and more terminals. Crewsupport Maritime Services BV is also affiliated with Royal Dirkzwager, who takes care of the ISPS applications in the Rotterdam area and forwards them to the terminals and the serving local agent. We can also trace the ETA Maas Pilot and berth with Dirkzwager’s Ship2Report, to ensure an efficient crew change.
