Russian visas

Conditions:

• The Consulate can only provide visas to Dutch citizens and people of other nationalities who are in possession of a valid residence permit for the Netherlands.
• Multiple-entry visas are not available for tourist or private visits.
• Visas for private visits are only possible for Single entries and, depending on what was indicated in the invitation, valid for maximum 3 months.

Application period:

The application period is for single and double entry visas 5 days average.
The application period for multiple entry visas is 10 days average.
(Emergency procedure is available in single and double entry visas. It costs € 35.00 extra, but have to include for example fightdetails)
Please note that on the moment there is no possibility in emergency procedure!

Tourist Visa Requirements:

Tourist: Single entry (up to 30 days, according to hotel confirmation or invitation by the Tourist Organization)

• application form (with one passport photo attached!), fully and properly filled out and signed!
• Passport, valid for six months at the departure from Russia (in which two blank pages side by side should be available for the visa)
• A confirmation and voucher, issued by the hotel or tour organisation. (Note: the maximum validity of the visa is the period stated in the hotel invitation! The visa should also be sumbitted at least seven days before departing for Russia.)
• Copy of insurance (with global coverage) or letter of guarantee from the insurance company.

Business Visa Requirements:

• One application form (with 1 passport photo attached!), fully and properly filled out and signed
• Passport, valid for six months at the departure from Russia (in which two blank pages side by side should be available for the visa)
• INVITATION

Single Entry 3 months

An invitation from the company (addressed to the Russian Consulate, in Russian, with effective dates, period and number of entries listed, and with a brief description of the purpose and reason of the visit on companies letterhead. The letter does not need to be original (readable scan is sufficient).

Double Entry for 3 months:

An invitation from the company (addressed to the Russian Consulate, in Russian, with effective dates, period and number of entrieslisted, and with a brief description of the purpose and reason of the visit on companies letterhead with INN number of the company. The letter does not need to be original (readable scan is sufficient).

Multiple entry for one year:

If the person has had NO visas for Russia in the last year: the invitation should be from the ministry. This may also be a telex sent by the ministry to the consulate in The Hague.

If the person has HAVE  a visa for Russia in the last year, only an invitation from the Russian company is needed. (Addressed to the Russian Consulate, in Russian, with effective dates, period and number of entries listed, and with a brief description of the object and purpose of the visit on companies letterhead. The letter does not need to be original (readable scan is sufficient).

• For all above mentioned visas it is also possible to: send a telex to the embassy or possibly an official invitation from the Ministry (a copy is not valid for the multiple entry visa), visas can be issued faster than 10 days)
• Copy of insurance (with global coverage) or letter of guarantee from the insurance company.
